Job Title: Technical Writer (6-Month Contract)
Location: Chullora NSW
Hybrid 2 days onsite

A leading vehicle financing company, committed to providing seamless and efficient mobility solutions.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Writer to develop a comprehensive Operational Handbook for our newly implemented CMS. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, system users, and IT teams to document system functionalities, workflows, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a detailed Operational Handbook for the new CMS, ensuring clarity and usability for end-users.
- Gather and document system processes, workflows, and business rules through stakeholder interviews, system exploration, and available documentation.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
- Work with SMEs, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
- Create supporting artifacts such as process flow diagrams, decision trees, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure consistency, readability, and adherence to documentation standards.
- Conduct reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
- Identify and document non-functional requirements (NFRs) where relevant, including system performance, security, and usability considerations.
- Assist in maintaining version control and updates for the documentation as the system evolves.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in enterprise system implementations.
- Strong ability to understand and document business processes and system functionalities.
- Experience working with contract management, fleet management, or vehicle financing systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with gathering and documenting non-functional requirements (NFRs) is a nice-to-have.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Confluence, Visio, or other documentation platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
