About the Role: Join a leading government agency as an Project Scheduler within the Program Management Office. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and optimising project schedules to support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Project/Project Online and exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage the project schedule.
- Ensure the project schedule is integrated, aligned, and compliant with requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and team members to ensure cohesive and accurate scheduling, articulating the critical path of the project.
- Identify external dependencies and potential scheduling risks.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on schedule performance and progress against the baseline schedule.
About You:
- Proven experience as a project scheduler with 4 to 7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of project management in both waterfall and agile projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline clearance.
- Positive attitude towards people with disability, aligning with the core purpose of the agency.
Desirable Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a team player, collaborative and results-driven.
- Strong communication skills, with good analytical and evaluating skills.
- Experience working in a government environment.
