We are currently partnering with a NSW State Government agency that is delivering a major digital transformation program. This initiative is focused on building modern, secure, and scalable solutions that improve service delivery and outcomes for the community.
Role Purpose
The Senior Full Stack Drupal Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality digital solutions. You will work across both frontend and backend systems, leveraging Drupal 9/10, PHP, and modern web frameworks, to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric applications.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an important reform project that will impact communities across NSW, while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure applications in line with NSW Government standards.
- Build and maintain responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Develop high-quality code using established practices, ensuring compliance with application development standards.
- Conduct code reviews, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver integration with REST-based services and SQL databases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including BAU and Product teams, to deliver project milestones.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous process improvements.
- Manage competing priorities within tight delivery timeframes.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proven expertise with Drupal 9/10 and strong understanding of Drupal architecture.
- Strong skills in PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).
- Experience integrating with REST-based services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, or MSSQL) and database modelling.
- Familiarity with enterprise development environments and best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
