The Job: Our client is undergoing significant changes and is looking for an IT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of key projects during an enterprise wide refresh.
This is a permanent non-ongoing position for 12 months.
Responsibilities: You'll manage project deliverables, contribute to budget and resource discussions, and ensure tasks are completed on time. You'll collaborate with various IT teams (Web, Infrastructure, Applications, Data, Change, Cybersecurity) to set strategic plans, coordinate team members, and implement IT strategies. You'll also identify and mitigate project risks, report on project progress, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure clarity on scope and objectives.
Skills Required: You should have experience managing project delivery in complex environments, a broad understanding of IT functions, and strong problem-solving skills. You need to work independently and under broad direction, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Project management certification and knowledge of IT project management processes in government departments are desirable.
Ideally you already hold a Baseline security clearance.
