$120000 per annum
Brisbane - East

On behalf of a well-established, proudly Australian-owned construction organisation based on the east side of Brisbane, we are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their forward-thinking team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing business that is investing heavily in digital innovation and systems integration to support long-term operational success. The organisation has a strong reputation for quality projects and is now looking to enhance its internal systems and customer engagement through Salesforce.
About the Role
The Salesforce Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions across the business. Working closely with internal stakeholders across IT, marketing, and operations, the successful candidate will lead the technical development of the organisation's Salesforce platform and integrations.
This role requires a blend of technical capability, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to digital transformation within a construction-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative Salesforce tools.
Build and manage integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
Configure and optimise Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) for lead management, campaign automation, and reporting.
Leverage Heroku for hosting and integration of external applications.
Ensure high standards of code quality, version control (Git), and CI/CD processes in line with Salesforce DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical, user-friendly solutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Salesforce Developer.
Proficient in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Strong experience with Heroku and integration tools (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Boomi).
Proficient in using Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II certification desirable).
Familiarity with Salesforce data architecture, security model, and automation tools.
Basic web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Salesforce DevOps.
Desirable Skills
Broader development experience with React, Vue.js, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
Strong front-end skills with an understanding of UI/UX and responsive design principles.
Experience working with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
Knowledge of Craft CMS and its integration potential with Salesforce.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based project delivery.
The Employer
The client is a respected construction business with a strong presence in the Brisbane market and a commitment to embracing new technologies. As a privately owned Australian company, they pride themselves on their collaborative culture, long-standing staff retention, and focus on innovation.
This is a rare opportunity for a Salesforce Developer to step into a varied, technically challenging role within an industry not typically associated with digital transformation-offering the chance to make a real difference.
