About the Role:

This well-known company is seeking a progressive and highly motivated IT Operations Manager to manage their growing IT team. In this role, you will not only manage and optimise the IT Operations but also mentor and inspire a talented group of professionals.

Your ability to navigate complex environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders will be key to driving their IT initiatives and change manangement forward.

Additionally, you will spearhead new IT projects including application upgrades, cloud migration, Cyber security uplift and infrastructure modernisation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor and motivate the IT team across applications, data and infrastructure promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee IT operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT services.
• Serve as the key liaison between IT and business units, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to organisational policies and industry standards in IT operations.
• Use data-driven insights to monitor team performance and infrastructure reliability.
• Manage change processes to minimise risk during system updates or new implementations.

What you'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus)
• 5-10 years of proven experience within IT Operations Management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid IT change management exeprience.
• Strong technical background with IT applications, data, cyber and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and foster a high-performance and open culture.
• Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
