This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician to join a dynamic and growing team within a well-established organisation based in the Northern Beaches.
This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering quality support and technical solutions to end users.
About the Role
As a ITIL certified IT Support Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for internal users across a wide range of IT issues. From desktop and mobile support to network troubleshooting and application management, you'll play a key role in keeping technology systems running smoothly and efficiently.
You'll also be involved in onboarding new team members, maintaining hardware and software, and contributing to the overall improvement of IT systems and processes.
As this role is based near Mona Vale a full driver' lices and car are manditory. The preferred candidate will live 30-45 minutes from the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for Windows devices, macOS, iOS, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Basic troubleshoot and configuration of network equipment (switches, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPN).
- Perform regular patching, updates, and maintenance of devices.
- Deliver seamless onboarding and offboarding for staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and up-to-date service tickets.
- Build subject matter expertise on key vendor solutions and assist with incident management.
- Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange.
- Ensure IT assets are tracked and maintained properly.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT service/support technician role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across network, desktop and mobile technologies.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows, macOS, iOS environments
- Hybrid Active Directory/Group Policy
- Microsoft Office 365 suite and admin (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.)
- Network administration (VLANs, patching, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- MDM tools including Intune and JAMF
- Veeam Backup and enterprise cybersecurity platforms
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience using ticketing systems and writing technical documentation.
