Clicks recruit IT team for retailer’s CRM migration
Background and Challenge
Clicks partnered with a major retailer to help it migrate its entire business to a new CRM: MS Dynamics. This migration required the creation of an entire IT team, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, CRM Developers, Full Stack Developers, Project Support with a mix of contract and permanent workers to ensure the success of the programme.
In addition to the task of managing multiple hires simultaneously, most of the roles required candidates with Dynamics CRM or AX skills and experience, which are very niche. The client was also in a challenging geographic location with no public transport access.
Clicks’ Solution
Clicks worked closely with the CTO at all stages of the recruitment process, commencing with taking an extensive requirements brief. We then conducted large-scale advertising and direct marketing campaigns utilising paid Google Ads campaigns created by our Group Marketing team. Our Delivery Team concurrently undertook extensive networking and headhunting activities. Throughout the campaign, Clicks’ Relationship Manager provided regular reporting and updates, which our client valued highly as a key success factor in the delivery of the programme.
Candidates were assessed by Clicks’ Delivery Team, which involved undergoing a detailed assessment process comprising bespoke behavioural, technical, preferential questions, technical skills testing, and reference checking with direct reports.
Over 100 candidates were submitted to our client, and 22 candidates were successfully placed.
Outcome and Benefits
The program was so successful that the Japan HQ wanted the CTO to do the same migration in other countries where the client had operations. The CTO provided us feedback, saying a major contributor to the success of the programme was the partnership with Clicks that resulted in quickly finding the right candidates.
