In the role of Advisor (Program Performance) you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and/or team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of program/s and project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies, and procedures.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Governance meeting preparation (agenda, papers, briefing materials) for both regional and statewide steering committees and boards
- Minutes, actions, and escalation pathways, supporting rapid turnaround of requests
- Program/project change control documentation
- Tracking and closing governance actions
- Monitoring and updating risk, issue, and dependency registers to support governance reporting
- Providing administrative continuity and ensuring critical activities have been finalised
- Enabling effective utilisation of senior Subject Matter Experts
- Supporting capacity planning
- Ensuring program records and evidence requirements are met
- Standardises and validate completeness, consistency and accuracy of program data used for reporting and governance
- Ensures governance alignment between districts and region
- Supports region wide consistency in program oversight
- Improves audit readiness and accountability
- Recording of district progressed escalation change requests ensuring necessary RLT member actions are progressed and finalised to enable close out of ECR and or further escalation through PDO board.
Requirements of the role
Experience and knowledge
- Proven expertise in a comparable support role, possessing high level communication skills both orally and in writing.
- Highly proficient in using the current Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience in program or project controls, reporting, or governance support in a complex delivery environment
Skills and abilities
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, as well as communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and synthesise program data into meaningful insights
- High attention to detail, particularly in data validation, reporting accuracy, and governance documentation

Technical/ Occupation Specific
- Executive correspondence - Uses understanding of executive correspondence techniques to develop accurate ministerials, briefing notes and executive letters in a timely manner.
- Experience using project/program management and reporting systems (e.g. registers, dashboards, SharePoint, or similar information systems)
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting) and PowerPoint (executive reporting)
