Solutions Architect

Drive enterprise information governance outcomes
7 month contract + Possible extension

In partnership with our Queensland Government client, we're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership across a strategic collaboration, document management and records governance platform.

This role will play a key part in shaping the future of the environment, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, compliant and aligned with evolving business needs. Working across SharePoint Online, Records365 and Orchestry, you'll provide technical direction, governance and solution design expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.


What you'll be doing

• Review the current platform environment and architecture
• Define solution architecture, security models and design standards
• Develop architecture and technical design artefacts
• Lead solution design for enhancements and new initiatives
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and supportable
• Provide guidance on governance and operating models
• Drive information architecture and taxonomy design
• Support records management and information governance outcomes
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders
• Support integrations across Microsoft 365 and Azure services
• Mentor project, administration and support teams
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and future direction

What you need to bring

• 10+ years' experience delivering enterprise collaboration and information management solutions
• Strong Solution Architecture experience in complex environments
• Deep expertise with SharePoint Online
• Experience with Records365 or comparable eDRMS platforms
• Experience designing and supporting Orchestry solutions
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance and compliance capabilities
• Hands-on experience across Azure, Power Platform and Microsoft Purview
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure DevOps
• Strong understanding of records and information management principles
• Experience designing Microsoft 365 security and access models
• Proven stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills
• Track record delivering scalable, secure and compliant solutions

Bonus points for

• Experience within government environments
• Experience working in highly regulated organisations
• Microsoft certifications across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security or Compliance
• Experience delivering enterprise information governance initiatives
