SAP Reporting and Analytics Analyst
Contract until June 2027
Daily rate up to $950 per day + Superannuation


In partnership with our Queensland Government client, we're seeking an experienced SAP Reporting and Analytics Analyst to support a major finance transformation program transitioning from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Working within a project team, you'll partner with finance and ICT stakeholders to assess reporting impacts, define future-state reporting requirements and help deliver modern analytics solutions using SAP reporting technologies. This is an opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation with significant organisational impact.

What you'll be doing

• Assess impacted finance reports and reporting needs
• Analyse current SAP ECC6 and BW reporting
• Design future-state S/4HANA reporting solutions
• Build SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and stories
• Define reporting and analytics specifications
• Create report catalogues and user documentation
• Advise on Embedded Analytics and SAC capabilities
• Support workshops and stakeholder engagement
• Assist with UAT, testing and defect resolution
• Contribute to training and change activities
• Promote reporting governance and data standards
• Manage reporting risks, issues and dependencies

What you need to bring

• Experience analysing finance reporting requirements
• SAP S/4HANA transformation project experience
• SAP Analytics Cloud development experience
• Strong dashboard and visualisation design skills
• Ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions
• Experience producing business and reporting documentation
• Knowledge of testing and UAT processes
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Focus on data quality, governance and reporting standards

Bonus points for

• SAP Analytics Cloud certification
• BABOK, CBAP or IIBA certification
• PRINCE2, Agile or similar delivery experience
• Large-scale S/4HANA implementation experience
• Finance or shared services experience
• Knowledge of government finance reporting standards
