We are looking for a Senior End User Experience (EUX) Engineer to join a large enterprise technology environment, supporting the delivery, optimisation and lifecycle management of end-user technology services.
This is a senior, hands-on technical role working across end-user computing, modern endpoint management, mobility, workplace technology and technology refresh initiatives. You will act as a technical SME, working closely with Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Cyber Security, Project Delivery and managed service partners.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced EUC, EUX, Modern Workplace or Endpoint Engineer who has strong Microsoft endpoint management experience and enjoys combining hands-on technical delivery with project leadership and continuous improvement.
About the roleAs the Senior EUX Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the end-user technology environment across laptops, desktops, mobile devices and workplace technologies.
You will lead device deployment and technology refresh initiatives, manage endpoint platforms, support operating system lifecycle activities and help establish consistent EUX standards and deployment methodologies.
Working within a complex operational environment, you will also support the remediation and modernisation of legacy technologies while ensuring security, reliability and business continuity are maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the deployment, configuration and support of Windows 10/11 end-user computing environments.
- Manage hardware and software lifecycle activities across laptops, desktops, tablets and mobile devices.
- Administer and optimise Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager and MDM technologies.
- Develop and maintain device build standards, configurations and deployment methodologies.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
- Manage mobile device enrolment, application deployment, security policies and compliance.
- Support workplace technologies including meeting room systems, collaboration tools, IP telephony and end-user peripherals.
- Lead operating system and hardware remediation activities across legacy technology environments.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Cyber Security and operational teams to manage technology risk while maintaining business continuity.
- Lead and support end-user technology projects, refresh programmes and workplace technology initiatives.
- Develop implementation plans, technical runbooks and support documentation.
- Participate in solution design reviews, testing and operational readiness activities.
- Support transition-to-BAU and operational acceptance processes.
- Coordinate with technology vendors and managed service providers.
- Analyse service trends, customer feedback and performance data to identify opportunities to improve the employee technology experience.
- Support the development and monitoring of EUX service metrics and KPIs.
About youWe're looking for an experienced end-user computing professional who can operate as a technical SME while remaining hands-on across endpoint technologies and enterprise technology delivery.
You will be comfortable working in a complex environment, engaging with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors and managed service partners.
Essential skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting enterprise end-user computing environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 enterprise environments.
- Experience with MECM/SCCM or equivalent endpoint management technologies.
- Experience managing large-scale desktop, laptop and mobile device deployments.
- Strong experience with device imaging, configuration and deployment technologies.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Experience implementing and supporting endpoint security and compliance controls.
- Experience supporting operating system lifecycle management and technology refresh programmes.
- Experience working with project delivery teams and managed service providers.
- Experience working within a complex enterprise or critical infrastructure environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Previous experience working within critical infrastructure, transport, aviation or other highly operational environments.
