We are looking for an End user support Analyst to join a major technology deployment project within a large enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on contract role supporting the rollout and replacement of end-user hardware as part of a critical infrastructure project. You'll work closely with the Service & Delivery Technology team to ensure devices are configured, deployed, and supported in line with enterprise standards.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in hardware deployment, desktop support, and end-user technology rollouts who enjoys working in a project-focused environment.
About the role
As an End user support Analystt, you'll be responsible for preparing, configuring, deploying, and replacing end-user hardware across the organisation. You'll support technology rollouts, user onboarding, and device deployment while ensuring a consistent and positive end-user experience.
This role is 100% onsite due to the nature of the hardware deployment project.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, image, configure, and deploy Windows laptops and desktop devices.
Replace and upgrade hardware as part of a large infrastructure technology refresh project. - Deploy and configure Cisco desk phones, including extension setup and user testing.
- Issue, enrol, and configure mobile devices (iOS and Android) using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
- Install and support end-user peripherals, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, headsets, webcams, and other accessories.
- Assist with user onboarding, device setup, and technology handover.
- Troubleshoot hardware deployment and configuration issues during rollout activities.
- Ensure all deployments meet security, usability, and organisational standards.
- Maintain accurate deployment records and support project coordination activities where required.
About you
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience delivering end-user hardware deployments in a structured enterprise environment.
Essential skills and experience
- Experience deploying and replacing end-user hardware across enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 7
- Experience imaging, configuring, and deploying laptops and desktop devices.
- Experience configuring Cisco desk phones.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and peripherals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support users during technology rollouts.
Nice to have
- Experience with EDLIN.
Previous experience working on hardware refresh, infrastructure rollout, or end-user technology deployment projects.
