Senior Systems Developer
Contract until 31 May 2027
Daily rate up to $950 per day + Superannuation


In partnership with our Queensland Government client, we're seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer to support a major finance modernisation program transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

You'll work closely with the Integration Lead to design, develop and deliver critical finance system integrations and applications. This is an opportunity to contribute to a large-scale ERP transformation within a complex enterprise environment while working across modern Microsoft technologies and SAP-connected systems.

What you'll be doing

• Develop finance system integrations and custom applications
• Design and implement solutions aligned to government and industry standards
• Produce technical specifications, requirements and design documentation
• Create business requirements, data definitions and user guides
• Support SIT, UAT and defect management activities
• Review software quality standards, processes and compliance requirements
• Contribute to training materials and user documentation
• Maintain accurate and auditable project documentation
• Identify and escalate project risks, issues and dependencies
• Work with stakeholders, project teams and external vendors

What you need to bring

• Strong development experience with .NET C#
• Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• Strong SQL Server (T-SQL) development capability
• Experience using Git or similar version control platforms
• Proven experience delivering enterprise application development projects
• Experience supporting ERP implementations such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC6 or similar
• Strong technical analysis and documentation skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and delivery deadlines
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving and risk management capability

• ASP.NET Blazor experience
• Microsoft Azure experience
• Azure DevOps or application lifecycle management platform experience
• ASP.NET MVC development experience
• WPF/WCF development experience
• DevOps CI/CD experience
• PL/SQL and Team Developer experience
• Experience using GitHub Copilot
