Azure Cloud Engineer (NV1)

Clicks' client is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support and enhance large-scale, Drupal-based enterprise platforms. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining secure, scalable solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, performance and compliance for public-facing and internal digital services.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team, you'll contribute across the full lifecycle - design, environment configuration, deployment pipelines, release management and ongoing sustainment. The role supports a hybrid working model based in the ACT, with onsite presence required deployments

What you bring

You bring strong hands-on experience supporting platforms in cloud environments, with a solid understanding of Azure infrastructure and services. You're comfortable working in enterprise settings, embedding secure‑by‑design practices, and supporting platforms that must meet accessibility, security and reliability standards.

You work autonomously, troubleshoot complex issues across cloud and application layers, and collaborate effectively with developers, testers, stakeholders and business users. You're also experienced in supporting deployments, configuration management, release activities and operational uplift.

Contract particulars

• Duration: 24 months + 24 months extension options
• Location: Canberra, ACT
• Work arrangements: Hybrid (up to 3 days WFH; deployments onsite)
• Security clearance: NV1 preferred
