About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Security Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions within a complex and regulated environment. This is a critical role responsible for embedding security architecture into all stages of project delivery while ensuring alignment with organisational policies, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.

You will work closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and cyber security stakeholders to ensure secure-by-design principles are applied across all Salesforce implementations and ongoing platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Salesforce architecture aligned with enterprise security standards
• Provide security assurance across Salesforce projects and production environments
• Embed security controls throughout the DevOps lifecycle (build, test, release)
• Apply Salesforce security capabilities including:
  • Roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
  • Salesforce Shield (encryption, event monitoring, audit trail)
  • Identity and access management (SSO, MFA)
• Identify, assess, and manage security risks and vulnerabilities
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, recommending control improvements
• Interpret and apply cloud and security policies in a Salesforce context
• Facilitate architecture governance forums and drive adherence to standards
• Provide clear advice to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Develop and maintain security and compliance documentation

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model:
  • Roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing and data access
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Shield
• Experience implementing identity and access management (SSO, MFA)
• Ability to interpret and apply security and cloud policies
• Experience with SPLUNK or similar monitoring tools
• Strong understanding of security governance and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Demonstrated experience driving architecture standards and governance
