About the Role:
Join a high-performing technology team delivering innovative cloud solutions that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build and optimise secure, scalable cloud platforms that enable advanced analytics, AI-driven solutions and modern digital services.
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and supporting cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks and secure data environments. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with developers, data specialists and business stakeholders to deliver modern cloud solutions and improve operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and resilient Microsoft Azure environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or similar tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent platforms.
- Enable and support deployment of AI/ML services, analytics platforms, APIs and secure data pipelines.
- Implement cloud security, identity management, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery best practices.
- Monitor cloud performance, reliability and utilisation to optimise cost and efficiency.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
About You
You will bring:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code platforms.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline development and automation experience.
- Exposure to AI/ML deployments, MLOps, data engineering or secure cloud platform operations.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Azure AI Landing Zone design and implementation experience.
- Experience working within healthcare, digital health, research, data-intensive or regulated environments
