Senior Systems Integrator

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to drive expert interface design and implementation within a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a 12-month contract supporting the delivery of technology solutions that enable seamless integration between critical applications and enterprise systems.

The Role

You'll play a critical role in ensuring effective system integration for infrastructure projects. This includes designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise middleware solutions, optimising interoperability, and contributing to a forward-thinking digital capital program. You'll collaborate closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical advice on system integration design, application deployment, and cross-platform compatibility
• Develop and support enterprise middleware solutions enabling data interoperability between key applications
• Investigate new technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs
• Maintain a secure, high-performance operational environment through system optimisation and proactive support
• Lead acceptance testing and implementation of integration solutions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors
• Ensure compliance with enterprise-wide standards, policies, and governance best practices

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years' experience in system integration and enterprise middleware solutions
• Expertise in interoperability standards (HL7, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
• Strong programming skills (Java, JavaScript) and middleware platforms (Rhapsody)
• Proven ability to analyze complex IT systems and implement effective solutions
• Experience in project management methodologies (Prince2)
• High-level communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
• Bonus: Knowledge of enterprise systems, government digital policies, and cybersecurity best practices
