Initial 12 month contract + likely extensions
Site based role (Brisbane CBD)
We're looking for a hands‑on, Scrum Master to support product teams delivering globally deployed software used in mining and heavy industry.
This role suits a capable Agile practitioner who enjoys working closely with high‑performing engineering teams, values people and outcomes over process, and wants to make a real‑world impact within a large, regulated enterprise environment.
What you'll be doing
- Supportingday‑to‑day Agile delivery as Scrum Master for a product team
- Facilitating core ceremonies with purpose and strong follow‑through
- Helping teams impove execution, flow, and predictability
- Removing blockers and addressing delivery friction early
- Working hands‑on with engineers across modern and legacy systems
- Partnering with Product Owners to shape and refine user stories
- Coaching teams in practical Agile ways of working at squad level
- Supporting AI adoption and productivity improvements
- Contributing to continuous improvement focused on outcomes and people
What you need to bring
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software teams
- Strong understanding of Agile principles
- Hands‑on capability supporting team‑level execution
- High emotional intelligence and strong people skills
- Confidence engaging stakeholders in complex environments
- Experience working within large, regulated or enterprise organisations
- Exposure to legacy systems alongside modern platforms
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA
Bonus points for
- Experience in mining, heavy industry, or industrial operations
- Exposure to enterprise or scaled Agile environments
- Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, or similar)
- Experience supporting AI‑driven change at team level
- Enjoyment of problem‑solving and overcoming resistance to change
