We're recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen automation capability, uplift UI test coverage, and support the delivery of reliable, high?quality software within a fast?moving, multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured processes, values discipline, and enjoys improving how teams approach quality.


What you'll be doing

• Converting user stories into clear test scenarios
• Estimating test effort for features and stories
• Owning test plans and reviewing team?written test cases
• Enforcing test standards and quality processes
• Building UI automation using Playwright
• Creating API, microservices and SQL?based tests
• Setting up environments and maintaining test data
• Running regression and acceptance suites via CI/CD
• Monitoring daily automation runs and triaging failures
• Communicating risks and coverage updates
• Improving tools, frameworks and testing approaches

What you need to bring

• 4+ years in QA with strong automation experience
• UI automation skills (ideally Playwright)
• Experience with Cucumber/SpecFlow or similar frameworks
• Coding capability in Java and/or Python
• Exposure to microservices and AWS/Azure
• Strong API and SQL testing skills
• CI/CD integration experience
• Solid Agile delivery background
• Methodical, disciplined work style

Bonus points for

• Experience with complex real?time or data?driven systems
• Prior involvement in QA uplift or framework improvement
• Environment setup and test?data strategy skills
• Observability or debugging experience to speed up issue analysis
• Prior experience delivering mining or heavy industry solutions
