We're partnering with a leading Education provider seeking a Data Analyst to support a large-scale educational program focused on improving learning outcomes through evidence-based decision making.



This role will suit someone who enjoys working across both quantitative and qualitative datasets, turning complex information into meaningful insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve reporting, planning and service delivery.



You'll play a key role in data analysis, dashboard reporting and identifying trends that inform strategic outcomes.





What you'll be doing

• Collect, cleanse and validate large and complex datasets
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends and insights
• Support reporting through Power BI dashboards and visualisations
• Perform advanced Excel analysis and data quality checks
• Organise and code open-text responses using agreed frameworks
• Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define reporting needs
• Maintain documentation, data standards and governance practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and workflows

What you need to bring

• Experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytics-focused role
• Strong data analysis skills across quantitative and qualitative datasets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability
• Hands-on experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development
• Ability to identify patterns, trends and opportunities from data
• Strong attention to detail and data quality practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Collaborative approach with a focus on stakeholder engagement

Bonus points for

• Experience using Power Query and DAX
• Exposure to education, research, evaluation or public sector environments
• Experience analysing survey and open-text response data
• Knowledge of qualitative coding methodologies and frameworks
• Experience supporting program performance reporting
• Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related field
