Project Manager

Project Manager | 11-Month Contract | Carseldine | $1,000-$1,100 per day | Hybrid (50/50)

A large Queensland Government department is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key ICT initiatives within a broader portfolio of technology projects. This 11-month initial contract offers a hybrid working arrangement with time split between the Carseldine office and work from home.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, working closely with business units, technical teams, and external vendors. The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple work streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of ICT projects from initiation through to close

• Manage project scope, schedule, risk, budget, and reporting

• Engage with stakeholders across technical and business areas

• Coordinate vendors, internal teams, and third-party suppliers

• Ensure alignment with government frameworks and project methodologies

• Prepare project documentation including plans, registers, and status reports

• Drive project outcomes to meet strategic objectives

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years' Project Management experience across ICT environments

• Strong background in project governance and stakeholder management

• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with government project frameworks is highly regarded

• Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP) desirable
