Organisational Change Manager - Technology Transformation Program
Location: Melton, VIC 3337 (Hybrid - Onsite + Flexible Remote)
Contract: ~6 Months with a view to extending
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead organisational change within a large-scale technology transformation program. You will play a key role in enabling a modern, digitally enabled organisation by ensuring people, processes, and ways of working successfully transition alongside new technology implementations.
You will work across multiple program streams, partnering with senior leaders, project teams, and technical stakeholders to drive adoption, readiness, and sustainable business outcomes.
About the Role
As the Organisational Change Manager, you will lead the end-to-end change strategy and delivery for a complex technology transformation program. This includes establishing change frameworks, driving stakeholder engagement, enabling business readiness, and supporting adoption across multiple initiatives.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while ensuring change activities are embedded seamlessly into program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall change management strategy and roadmap.
- Establish change frameworks, governance, and best-practice methodologies.
- Align change activities with program and project delivery timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
- Identify, analyse, and manage stakeholder impacts.
- Design and deliver communication and engagement strategies.
- Facilitate workshops and provide clear change progress reporting.
Change Impact & Readiness
- Conduct impact assessments across technology, process, people, and customer experience.
- Assess organisational readiness and coordinate readiness activities.
- Track risks, issues, and adoption barriers.
Training & Capability Uplift
- Conduct training needs analysis.
- Develop training strategies and learning approaches.
- Support development and rollout of learning materials and capability programs.
Adoption & Transition
- Drive adoption and reinforcement strategies across business areas.
- Support cutover, go-live, and post-implementation activities.
- Measure adoption and behavioural change outcomes.
Leadership & Governance
- Provide expert advice to sponsors and executive stakeholders.
- Coach leaders and uplift internal change capability.
- Prepare executive reporting, dashboards, and benefits insights.
About You
You are an experienced change professional with a strong background in delivering organisational change within complex technology or digital transformation environments, ideally within government or large enterprise settings.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading change on large-scale technology transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of change methodologies (ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter, etc.).
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- Ability to assess change impact, readiness, and organisational culture.
- Experience managing resistance, risks, and adoption challenges.
- Capability to measure adoption and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Change management certification (Prosci, CMI, Agile Change Management, etc.).
- Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) highly regarded.
