Technical Project Manager

Job overview:
Lead and deliver technology projects within a strategic Digital Services Program, ensuring initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed scope. This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager who excels at stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and driving digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and deliver multiple concurrent technology projects.
• Develop project canvases and business cases for project approval.
• Oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, change management, and operational handover.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, program directors, product owners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of stakeholder engagement and clear communication.
• Ensure solutions meet organisational, community, and customer expectations.
• Apply a consultative, fact-based approach to decision-making.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years' experience managing technology projects end-to-end.
• Strong business acumen and delivery strategy skills.
• Proven experience with digital transformation, website transformation, customer engagement, and enterprise application projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation.
• Fully conversant with waterfall methodology (recent experience required).
• Demonstrated capability in authoring reports, documents, and submissions for executive signoff.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, and MS Project.
• PMBOK/PRINCE2 or similar certification highly regarded.
• Functional knowledge of CRM, ERP, vendor, and finance management applications.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle for enterprise applications.
