We're seeking a highly experienced Principal Business Analyst to lead complex, enterprise-scale digital initiatives within a large and evolving higher education environment.

This is a critical role driving a major CRM-led transformation, where deep Salesforce expertise and strong enterprise delivery experience are essential. You'll partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable, customer-centred solutions.


What you'll be doing

• Lead end-to-end business and solution analysis across large, complex initiatives
• Translate business needs into detailed solution specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops to define, validate and prioritise requirements across diverse stakeholder groups
• Drive business process modelling across current, transitional and future states (incl. BPMN)
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to define scalable Salesforce-based solutions
• Ensure full traceability from business problem through to delivered solution
• Analyse inputs from multiple sources to inform solution design and decision-making
• Contribute to feasibility studies and solution option assessments
• Support testing cycles (system, integration, UAT) and implementation readiness
• Partner with change teams to drive adoption and business readiness

What you need to bring

• Demonstrated Salesforce experience (2+ years) across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Proven ability to apply Salesforce product knowledge to define and shape implementation solutions
• Experience deploying enterprise technologies in large, highly complex organisations
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with a clear focus on customer-centric outcomes
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across diverse groups
• End-to-end delivery experience, ensuring traceability from business problem through to solution
• Experience working across cross-functional, multi-project environments delivering concurrent outcomes
• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, user stories and backlog management
• Advanced workshop facilitation and communication skills

Bonus points for

• Experience with Service Cloud Voice or CTI integrations within Salesforce environments
• Experience delivering large-scale CRM or customer engagement platforms
• Exposure to complex digital transformation programs
• Background in higher education
• Familiarity with service management environments
