About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Specialist to join a high-impact transformation program focused on improving project, program, and portfolio management capability across a large and complex organisation.

This initiative is driving significant uplift across ways of working, business processes, and technology, including the implementation of a Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solution (ServiceNow).You'll be joining a collaborative, geographically distributed team working alongside internal stakeholders and external delivery partners on a meaningful transformation.

Key duties:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading and delivering project outcomes across the full project lifecycle.

You will:

• Deliver results with a large degree of independence within the Project Management Framework, policies, priorities, objectives and strategy.
• Provide high-level, technical advice on contemporary complex project management, including methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Coordinate and undertake high level research, analysis and implementation of project management and design methodologies to support the management of the project within the agency.
• Monitors and maintains financial records to agreed requirements for compliance and audit.
• Collates required financial data and reports for analysis and to facilitate decision-making.
• Ensures that effective project monitoring and control processes, change control, risk management and quality processes are employed and maintained.
• Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital expenditures against the project budget.
• Manages the expectations of key project stakeholders.

Key Skills Required

You are a proactive and driven Project Delivery Specialist with experience delivering complex initiatives.

Proven experience delivering complex projects or programs

• Strong ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and competing priorities
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience translating complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build high-performance cultures
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile)
• Experience in software delivery or business process improvement projects
