Our Queensland Government client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution Functional Expert to join a major transformation program focused on modernising ERP, warehousing and supply chain capabilities. Working within a specialist project team, you'll lead the design and delivery of scalable SD solutions, driving end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes across a complex enterprise environment.


What you'll be doing

• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution solutions
• Deliver end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process design
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and provide expert functional guidance
• Design SD master data structures including Business Partners, Materials and Pricing
• Develop functional specifications and support WRICEF delivery
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers and business stakeholders
• Ensure integration across MM, FI, EWM, BTP and external systems
• Produce design documents, process flows, specifications and test artefacts
• Support SIT, UAT, performance testing and deployment activities
• Contribute to cutover planning and go-live readiness
• Provide hypercare support and post-implementation issue resolution
• Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift activities

What you need to bring

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering SAP S/4HANA SD solutions
• Proven experience with greenfield S/4HANA implementations
• Strong hands-on SAP SD configuration expertise
• Experience designing original solutions rather than template-based rollouts
• Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash processes
• Strong experience delivering WRICEF-related functional specifications
• Proven integration experience across SAP MM, FI and EWM
• Full project lifecycle experience from design through to hypercare
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and requirements gathering capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively in large and complex project environments

Bonus points for

• SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution certification
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Health, pharmaceutical or hospital supply chain experience
• Warehouse Management or distribution-focused project experience
• Exposure to regulated or government environments
• Experience working on enterprise-wide transformation programs
