Location: Tullamarine, VIC (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract + potential to go permanent
Requirement: Must be Melbourne-based

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Change & Configuration Manager to support a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all IT changes are effectively controlled to minimise risk and maintain system stability.

It is essential that you have prior experience working in critical, high-availability environments where system uptime is paramount and change must be carefully managed.

This is a hybrid role based in Tullamarine. Due to the nature of the airport environment, you must be comfortable working within a 24/7 operational setting, with flexibility to support changes outside standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT change processes, ensuring all changes are planned, assessed, approved, tested and implemented effectively
• Assess risk and enforce appropriate controls across all IT changes
• Maintain and improve the CMDB, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Drive strong ITIL governance across multiple teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant delivery of change

About You

• Proven experience managing IT change within critical, high-availability environments (such as airports, healthcare, financial services, or similar)
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and governance
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and CMDB
• Ability to manage stakeholders and work across multiple teams
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable operating in a 24/7 environment
