Specialist Engineers (TSPV / TS-PA)

These Canberra-based opportunities offer a 3-year contract with extensions, working full-time onsite. Applicants must hold a TSPV or TS-PA security clearance. We are seeking experienced engineers to support strategic capability planning, systems engineering, and capability development activities.

2 roles available:

As a Capability Definition Document Development (CDDD) Specialist Engineer, you will contribute to the development of capability definition documentation, business cases, concept papers, and other capability development artefacts. The role includes analysing and defining capability requirements, assessing opportunities and risks, supporting investment planning and capability approval activities, and translating complex technical and geospatial information into concise, decision-ready products for senior stakeholders.

As a Geospatial Systems Software (GSS) Specialist Engineer, you will provide expertise in systems engineering, software engineering, and geospatial capability development. Responsibilities include evaluating system architectures, technical roadmaps, interoperability requirements, and capability integration approaches, while assessing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, advanced data exploitation, and space-based capabilities to inform future capability outcomes.
