Senior Solution Architect

Location: ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA or WA
Work Type: Contract (12 Months +12 months extension)
Security Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
Citizenship: Australian Citizens only

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join a major Federal Government transformation program focused on delivering critical technology solutions that support large-scale service delivery across Australia.

This is a high-profile architecture role where you will provide technical leadership, develop solution designs, engage with senior stakeholders, and ensure solutions align with broader enterprise technology strategies. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade platforms within a complex and fast-paced environment.

Key Respnsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality solution designs and architecture that are fit for business purpose and ensure solutions align with goals and objectives.
• Development, ownership and accountability for creation and maintaining all relevant documentation pertaining to the Solution.
• Engage with the business to understand the tactical and strategic objectives and requirements.
• Engage with the enterprise architects, solution leads, business representatives, development team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure solution alignment across domains. 
• Provide technical oversight and facilitate complex issues resolution arising during project delivery. 
• Represent the solution throughout all governance councils and processes. 
• Consult with the broader team of SMEs and architects to ensure the depth of knowledge and experience within the agency is leveraged to its full extent. 

Key Selection Criteria:

• Minimum 7 years of Architecture experience with broad technical knowledge, including demonstratable experience leading the design of complex enterprise class platforms.
  
  
• Demonstrable experience developing and deploying enterprise scale analytical solution (SAS).
  
  
• Experience leading and driving architectural design for Enterprise class CRM and/or Large-scale integration projects, with Salesforce experience preferred.
  
  
• Excellent listening, communication and stakeholder management skills, must be able to translate business capability into technical requirements.
  
  
• Experience balancing fast-paced project and program, project and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
  
  
• Proven experience contributing effectively within a team environment – the ability to adapt to the role performed based on the audience. The need to be equally comfortable facilitating or contributing ion large groups of mixed business functions and varied technical expertise.
  
  

Desirable criteria

• Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  
  
• Industry experience across health or insurance sectors, or other related industries with large customer bases and complex supply chain interactions.
  
  
• TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification; Azure or AWS cloud experience.
  
  
• Functional experience across applied analytics, embedding analytics into core business functions, preferably with SAS or equivalent enterprise scale solutions.
