$1072.71 per day + Superannuation
Brisbane-based role / Hybrid working arrangements available (3:2)


Our Queensland Government client is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to join a major enterprise data transformation program focused on delivering trusted, reusable and high-value data products.

This is a highly visible, business-facing leadership role where you'll operate at the intersection of strategy, delivery and technology. You'll lead Agile squads, provide direction to Business Analysts, work closely with an established Scrum Master to maintain delivery cadence, and engage senior stakeholders to ensure product priorities align with business outcomes.

We're looking for someone with strong business acumen, political awareness and a proven background delivering within large-scale data and analytics programs.


What you'll be doing

• Own the strategy, roadmap and prioritisation of enterprise data products
• Lead Agile squads and guide Business Analysts on where to focus their efforts
• Partner closely with the Scrum Master to maintain delivery cadence and momentum
• Engage senior stakeholders to align product priorities with business outcomes
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable delivery plans
• Drive trusted, reusable data products that deliver measurable value

What you need to bring

• Proven Product Management experience within large-scale data or analytics programs
• Strong business acumen and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Experience leading Agile squads and influencing multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and prioritisation skills
• Ability to bridge the gap between business priorities and technical delivery
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and product lifecycle management

Bonus points for

• Queensland Government or public sector experience
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, analytics or business intelligence solutions
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality and information management
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs
• Exposure to Power BI or enterprise reporting environments
