Senior Cyber Security Analyst (ETR)

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support a major program within a large banking environment.
You'll work closely with cyber security, cloud, infrastructure and identity teams to strengthen controls and improve resilience against emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities

• Drive vulnerability remediation and exposure management activities.
• Coordinate responses to critical vulnerabilities and emerging cyber threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk-based prioritisation.
• Support threat advisory activities and risk reduction programs.
• Improve security metrics, reporting and compliance capabilities.
• Partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve cyber posture.
• Develop and maintain operational standards and security procedures.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys or Rapid7.
• Strong understanding of security hardening and configuration management.
• Experience responding to critical vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Knowledge of Essential Eight, ASD ISM, NIST CSF and CIS Benchmarks.
• Ability to assess risk and prioritise remediation efforts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC or GIAC certifications.
• Previous banking or highly regulated industry experience.
