I am seeking an experienced Senior Founding Engineer to join my client who are a well funded online gambling company. This is your chance to build high-performance, secure, and scalable gaming applications that will be enjoyed by players worldwide.

This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up and scale the engineering team around you. We are building a fully remote team of gun engineers from across Australia to work on the next big thing in online gambling.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js or Vue.js.
• Build scalable backend services & APIs with Node.js, Express.js (bonus for NestJS).
• Work on real-time gaming applications using WebSockets (Socket.io).
• Collaborate with designers & product teams to turn concepts into engaging, interactive interfaces.
• Implement microservices and event-driven systems.
• Integrate payment gateways, KYC verification, fraud detection tools.
• Optimize performance with Redis caching and database tuning (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Maintain high coding standards through reviews & mentoring.
• Ensure application security, compliance, and scalability.

What You Bring:

• Extensive hands on experience building complex, high traffic systems.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Expertise in React.js or Vue.js.
• Backend development experience with Node.js & Express.js.
• Knowledge of WebSockets, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and authentication standards (JWT, OAuth).
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in an Agile team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in gaming, casino, or betting industries.
• Blockchain or cryptocurrency integration experience.
• Knowledge of game mechanics, RNG, and fairness algorithms.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other message brokers.
