Manager - Hybrid Cloud Platforms

This organisation is bringing together its public and private cloud capability under a single leadership role. As Manager - Hybrid Cloud Platforms, you'll lead teams responsible for AWS, Azure and private cloud services, helping them deliver secure, resilient and well‑governed platforms that support critical systems at scale.

This is a leadership role rather than a hands‑on engineering position. You won't be expected to be on the tools, but you will need to understand the technology well enough to guide decisions, challenge constructively and support your teams.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and supporting cloud and infrastructure teams across BAU and delivery
• Setting clear standards around security, resilience, governance and cost management
• Overseeing platform lifecycle management, including private cloud, compute, storage and virtualisation
• Driving practical improvements in automation, monitoring and observability
• Working closely with stakeholders and vendors to deliver reliable, scalable platform services

What you'll bring

• Experience leading infrastructure, cloud or platform teams in complex environments
• A strong understanding of hybrid cloud and private infrastructure (hands‑off is fine)
• Confidence managing budgets, vendors and competing priorities
• A collaborative leadership style and the ability to bring people with you
