Level 2 Support Engineer

Clicks IT Recruitment is working with a client that is a global leader in heavy machinery and industrial equipment manufacturing. This client has a strong international presence and is committed to providing innovative solutions that benefit the environment and the communities they serve, supporting a more sustainable future.

In this role, you will provide Level 2 Help Desk and Application Support for enterprise mining software, troubleshooting complex technical issues across software, hardware, databases, and networks. You will work closely with customers, dealers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional support, ensuring system reliability in mining environments.

The Role:

• Brisbane CBD location
• Hourly rates: $40 - $45 p/h inc super
• In office 5 days per week
• 10% travel to support sites
• Weekend coverage on rotation

The Repsonsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality customer support for mining technology software and hardware.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and dealers within your region.
• Participate in a rotational hotline support system for mining technology products.
• Restore site services, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex cases when necessary.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems across a broad ecosystem, including sensors, onboard control units, displays, networks, application servers, and databases.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving application and technical issues.
• Analytical mindset with a process-driven approach.
• Experience in customer support, such as a call center or help desk environment.
• Ability to quickly understand and work with complex software and hardware systems.
• Highly regarded experience in the mining industry
• Foundational knowledge of information technologies.
• Familiarity with Virtualization, basic TCP/IP networking, and database fundamentals.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
