Systems Administrator

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator with hands-on experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong technical skills. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our server hardware, storage systems, and related infrastructure across diverse locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, storage systems, and related infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including user access controls, security patching, and vulnerability management.
• Participate in client-facing and internal IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Lead initiatives with clients and participate in client-facing meetings.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate proactively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately 1 in 6 weeks.

Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience in systems administration (approximately 8 years).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
• Experience with server hardware and storage solutions.
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Extra Points For:

• Experience with specific backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Veritas, VMware).
• Experience with cloud-based disaster recovery services (e.g., Azure Site Recovery, AWS Disaster Recovery).
• Scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Knowledge of network security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
