Requirements
As a Technical Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with technical issues.
Your primary role will involve diagnosing problems, providing solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work with both hardware and software systems, offering support via phone, email, and chat. Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential, as you will guide users through troubleshooting processes and help resolve their technical challenges efficiently. This position is vital in maintaining smooth operations and enhancing the overall user experience.
The Technical Officer will be required to:
- Provide technical support domestically including travel, some international travel opportunities may be required.
- Install and support IT, Network and Communications systems.
- Review and maintain installation documentation of various ICT systems.
- General technical work and advice.
- Additional duties as required in relation to ICT technical installations and support.
- Possess the ability to work under limited supervision individually or in a team environment.
- Possess the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, showcase sound lateral thinking to investigate and solve undocumented problems.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures.
