We're partnering with them to find a Customer Onboarding & Experience Specialist who understands the language of trucks, fleets, and compliance and someone who's not afraid to "talk shop" with drivers, mechanics, or fleet managers and can help customers get the most out of their software.
About the Role
You'll be the friendly, capable voice that new customers rely on to get started - guiding them through setup, onboarding, and best-use of the Gearbox system. You'll liaise closely with internal tech and product teams, spotting issues, sharing insights, and helping to shape continuous product improvement.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Onboarding new customers and setting up their systems
- Uploading and validating client data (yes, there's some Excel work involved)
- Taking client calls and troubleshooting common issues
- Escalating technical problems to the development team
- Helping create clear support resources and guides for clients
- Providing feedback that makes the platform even better
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years' experience in transport, fleet, or heavy vehicle operations
- Experience in customer onboarding, customer experience, or high-touch client service
- Ideally, NHVAS accreditation or strong compliance understanding
- Confident with Excel and data handling
- A calm, solutions-driven communicator who can manage multiple clients with ease
- Someone who enjoys helping others and improving systems
