Senior .NET Developer

I'm partnering with a major government organisation delivering critical, high-visibility digital platforms that support large-scale, time-sensitive operations.

This is not your typical development role. You'll be working on systems that operate under strict deadlines, high transaction volumes, and zero-margin-for-error delivery windows. The kind of environment where clean code, smart architecture, and strong engineering discipline genuinely matter.

The Role

As a Senior .NET Developer, you'll take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across a complex enterprise environment.

You'll operate across the full SDLC, working closely with architects, business analysts, and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, all while maintaining a strong focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and building end-to-end full stack solutions across critical platforms
• Developing clean, maintainable code aligned to enterprise standards and best practice
• Contributing to architecture decisions alongside senior technical stakeholders
• Building and integrating APIs and web services across distributed systems
• Ensuring code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and proactive issue resolution
• Supporting delivery in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Mentoring junior developers and uplifting overall team capability
• Producing clear, structured technical documentation

What You Bring

This role is suited to a true senior developer and someone who can operate independently, influence design decisions, and deliver under pressure.

Core Experience Needed:

• Strong background in full stack development across the SDLC
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft stack:
• C#, .NET / .NET Core, MVC
• Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps / Power BI) highly regarded
• Front-end experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Strong experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, or Dataverse)
• Proven capability building and consuming REST APIs / web services (JSON, XML, Azure API Management)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and quality engineering practices
