Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea has been around for as long as I can remember (which is truthfully the 90s). Often we can be guilty of ‘charity fatigue’, being asked to give for lots of worthy causes. This has never been the case, however, with Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. People never tire of putting in the extra effort to bake something tasty (okay, so some of us might have ‘outsourced’ the baking) and share it with our colleagues for a good cause.
Last week, Clicks and the rest of the Beddison Group companies came together to host our own Morning Tea for the Cancer Council. This is an added bonus for us, because it is one of very few occasions where we take time out to all come together: Clicks IT Recruitment, INDEX Consultants and HOBAN Recruitment. Even though we are all one ‘family’, and often share office space, like so many others, we are often so busy and focused on our own work that we rarely have the opportunity to shoot the breeze with our colleagues.
By the way, another food-related event that brings us all together each year is Harmony Day. If you aren’t celebrating this in your workplace, you are seriously missing out. Best. Lunch. Ever.

Other than the food, we were delighted to have raised hundreds of dollars donated by our staff to go towards helping the 1 in 2 Australians that are diagnosed with cancer by the time they reach 85.
