Senior Test Analyst

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Test Analyst to join a Queensland Government department for a 5-month contract based in Carseldine. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software as part of a critical service modernisation program, contributing to the enhancement of registration and licensing services and improving transactional service delivery across the state.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and improve testing processes and procedures aligned with departmental frameworks.
• Design and develop test cases (both automated and manual) based on user stories, use cases, and requirements.
• Execute various levels of testing, including system, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automated and manual testing that meets delivery milestones.
• Contribute to analysing business specifications and solutions while ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
• Focus on automated testing strategies and apply Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices.
• Maintain documentation for test cases and prepare status and completion reports for management.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Playwright and Cypress testing tools.
• Familiarity with AWS and GitHub.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and domain-driven design.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions in Agile or Waterfall environments.
• Strong understanding of automated testing and CI/CD methodologies.
