Team Leader - Network Services

Are you an experienced people leader with a strong technical networking background? We are seeking a Team Leader - Network Services to join a well-established organisation on a 6-month contract covering a period of extended leave. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a skilled team, provide technical direction and ensure the delivery of high-quality network services within a collaborative and supportive environment.

You will combine hands-on leadership with technical expertise, helping your team succeed while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of 5-6 Network Services professionals
• Provide technical guidance and oversight across network operations and initiatives
• Manage team performance, capability development and workforce planning
• Coordinate procurement activities and vendor engagement as required
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Must Have

• Demonstrated experience leading technical infrastructure or network teams
• Strong networking knowledge with the ability to provide technical leadership and guidance
• Proven people management experience, including performance management and coaching
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing priorities in a complex operational environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to procurement and vendor management activities
• Experience within large enterprise or government environments
• ITIL or related service management experience
• Relevant networking or leadership certifications
