The Department is seeking the services of an experience in investigations and data analytics to assist in the operations of an enhanced personnel security capability that enables the Department to analyse, report and investigate security related matters, with a focus on early intervention, staff-wellbeing and enabling diversity in the workforce.
Skills and Experience required:
Practical experience in conducting civil or criminal investigations in a Commonwealth government context (e.g. Security, Code of Conduct, fraud or regulatory investigations)
Practical understanding of the Australian Government Investigations Standards (AGIS)
Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data
Experience extracting and analysing data from a variety of sources
Strong oral and written communication skills, including drafting operational and analytical reports
The ability to understand diverse personnel security risk profile, including at our overseas offices
Knowledge of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and a practical application of personnel security policies and practices is desirable.
