The Victoria Police's Information, Communication & Digital Technology (ICDT) Division is creating high-performing teams that will integrate and manage the technology services delivered to the organisation's more than 22,000 people state-wide.

As a Technical Solution Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to manage, deliver, and improve ICDT and other enabling services.
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the new Enterprise Service Management platform
Provide a single, modern system that will be used and integrated with by all service delivery partners
Contribute to a new and high performing team and establish agile ways of working
Deliver value faster through collaboration to improve service delivery.

Reporting to the Manager, Service Strategy & Platform you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operational performance of the service management system.
Establish and manage a team of collaborative and goal-oriented technical experts
Establish and manage a capability to analyse requirements and provide controls
Utilise technical solutions that are cost effective, low risk and are high performing
Provide technical leadership, ensuring the system maintains alignment to business strategy and governance
Lead the analysis and assessment of innovations and emerging trends in service management systems
Understand the impact to enterprise architecture and organisational strategy
Collaborate with both internal and external technical and business stakeholders
Ensure the service management system effectively supports the delivery of products and services
As the successful applicant, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Information Technology or Business
Certification and demonstrated experience in IT Service Management practices and platform management
Focus on people and leadership
Ability to define, lead and deliver change
Experience defining and improving process and technology to optimise value and minimise inefficiency
Understanding of organisational management, strategy and governance
Experience working with vendors and partners to deliver outcomes
Ability to cultivate productive working relationships, facilitate cooperation and partnerships
Exemplify personal drive, integrity and show personal courage
Requirements and relevant information:
The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen. OR Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
