Systems Implementation Specialist

Clicks IT Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in the mining sector to fill a Implementation Specialist role in Brisbane. This position involves implementing and upgrading advanced products that optimise and monitor mining operations.

The Role:

• 12 Month contract (with possibility to go permanent)
• Brisbane CBD - Hybrid (office 3 days - Work From Home 2 days)
• 5% of this role will involve domestic travel
• Experience implementing mining technologies or systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing system modules according to specifications and configure them based on requirements gathered from customer business analyses.
• Install and set up complete mining systems to fulfil commercial contracts and specific site needs.
• Plan and carry out integrated testing and customer acceptance testing.
• Solve problems through technical investigation and resolution, including responding to customer inquiries.
• Provide technical training on implementation for end users and system administrators.
• Handle implementation and integration tasks for both internal and external customers.
• Contribute to documentation, training, and functional specifications.
• Adhere to project management processes and implementation assignments.

Must Haves:

• Extensive hands-on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environment.
• Fleet Management implementation experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of mining technology on heavy machinery is desirable.
• A Technical Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience in an IT, technical, or engineering role.
• Significant experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure, and cyber security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Please note that candidates need to be Brisbane based as this is a hybrid role, with a 2/3 WFH and office split.
