Python, SQL & Network Infrastructure Engineer

3-Month Contract (Possibility of extension)

Sydney based opportunity - Hybrid 3x days in office 2 days WFH

We're seeking an experienced Python, SQL & Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a 3-month contract supporting a critical SharePoint migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative technical team, helping deliver a secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure environment.

You'll play a key role in network engineering, infrastructure support and automation, using Python and SQL to improve operational efficiency while ensuring the successful delivery of the migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a SharePoint migration project.
• Configure, manage and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
• Develop Python scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Design, optimise and maintain SQL databases and queries.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.

About You

You'll have experience with:

• Python development and automation.
• Strong SQL skills, including database design and query optimisation.
• Network engineering and infrastructure administration.
• Cisco networking technologies, including FMC, CSM or similar.
• REST APIs, JSON and XML.
• Load balancing technologies
• Git or other version control tools.
• Working independently in fast-paced project environments.
