Job details
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the platform setup for integration between our facilities asset management system with our financial management system.
- Collaborate with architects, developers and engineers to design end-to-end messaging solutions.
- Assist with deploying the underlying cloud infrastructure to support the website refresh project.
- In addition to project tasks, assist with BAU activities relating to our cloud environments where required.
Key duties and responsibilities
Key requirements of the successful candidate must have skills and experience with (mandatory):
- Implementing messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus to support microservices, event-driven architecture and enterprise integration needs.
- Containerisation (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift)
- Cloud services such as compute, storage and databases across major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS and GCP).
- Managing hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise).
- Leveraging infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code and compliance-as-code.
- Utilisation of automation tools.
- Government cyber security frameworks (ISM, Essential 8, PSPF)
The following additional skills and experience would be of benefit:
- DevOps and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
- Networking, security and database management
- Traditional on-premise infrastructure services
