The team works on a combination of special/strategic projects/initiatives usually focused on continuous improvement of business processes, along with a range of support activities for the CIO and executive of the IT department. General areas of work are likely to include:
Supporting analysis of risks and controls and relevant action plans
Supporting data collection and analysis relating to performance and management reporting
Some administrative work, including preparing agendas, papers, meeting minutes, actions, organising and briefing content providers for key management and governance committee meetings.
To be successful in the role, the person will need:
Advanced analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to autonomously structure and drive complex and often ambiguous analysis of projects / requests
Flexibility and adaptability, comfortable working with ambiguity
Ability to simplify complex ideas in both written and verbal communication and ability to deliver executive level presentations, and effectively influence senior stakeholders
Structured and results-oriented approach
