The primary objectives of the position to contribute to solution-focused projects by: * Supporting the existing digital Laboratory system. * Analysing, workshopping and defining requirements for a replacement digital Laboratory system.
* Support existing Laboratory digital projects - including but not limited to Cytology Information System (CIS), Medipath, Medibill, existing instrument interfaces, and Autoloader. * Analyse, define, scope and acquire estimates for new requirements for a new digital solution that replaces the current legacy Laboratory system. * Engage with all relevant stakeholders and third-party vendors to understand, identify and document requirements in order to provide the necessary information for proposed technical solutions. * Maintain requirements traceability and weekly communications to stakeholders on Laboratory iteration backlog priorities. * Facilitate running of Laboratory Agile activities, manage backlog burn down and resolve iteration blockers, facilitate workshops and document business workflows/gap analysis utilising accepted industry methodology.
RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES: * A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent. * Extensive experience within the Australian Digital Health domain - particularly Laboratory systems, and/or understanding of HL7, SNOMED and LOINC. * Experience providing business analysis in systems/product development, implementation and support in both Windows desktop and web applications. * Experience working as a Business Analyst in an Agile development. * Demonstrated ability to be able to articulate, define and document clear and succinct User Stories, Use Cases, and Business Requirements Documents. * Exceptional stakeholder management skills in requirements elicitation and business problem resolution.
