We are looking for an exceptional Payroll Lead to work within the WoVG HCM Program team to influence and support the technical elements and design of each departments Payroll solution. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Leading and designing Payroll solutions across complex and large-scale corporate or government environments. The WoVG HCM Program sites within the Digital Strategy and Transformation.
As the Payroll Lead, you will:
Play a key role in the provision of payroll, time and attendance and award interpretation expertise in areas of payroll. Your expertise will be leveraged across all phases of the project and will be critical in the analysis of the current state landscape, design of the end state solution and a key resource during the build and test and the support of the system
Contribute to the design of the Payroll solution, application and integration architecture for the WoVG HCM Program and SAP SuccessFactors environment to use when integrating and sharing data.
Contribute to the design of the WoVG HCM Program and SAP SuccessFactors integration framework to be implemented across WoVG.
Deliver ongoing education and support across government regarding best practice design standards, and benefits of successful integrations.
Provide support for the wider branch on Payroll technical initiatives, Payroll application architecture and design, Payroll technical recruitment and procurement activities and provide supportive presentations and documentation as agreed.
Key selection criteria
Provision of expertise on HCM and Payroll business processes in the areas of:
Employee and manager self service
End to End core HR transactions integrating to Payroll
End to End fortnightly pay processing
Disbursements to employees and third parties
Processing of earnings and deductions
Calculation of tax and superannuation
Payroll tax and leave liability provisioning
End of year processing
Time & attendance and award interpretation
Processing of award conditions and entitlements (VPS and FSU Enterprise Agreement)
Experience with Success Factors & SAP modules namely:
Employee Central Payroll (Time-off, Leave Management and Time Evaluation)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Success Factors - Employee Central Payroll or SAP Payroll.
Experience serving in a consultative role to design and document current state/future state workflow processes and system configuration.
Demonstrated experience as a Technical Analyst or Lead within an HCM implementation within a complex and/or government environment.
Demonstrated experience working with a variety project delivery methodologies, such as Agile, Iterative and Waterfall will be highly regarded.
